Metal Parts
The truss beams are made of Q235 steel. The joints are treated to Sa-grade rust removal standards, and the exterior surfaces are coated with chlorosulfonated paint for corrosion protection. The connectors are made of 304 stainless steel.
Structural Requirements
FRP canopies are designed with different spans according to project requirements to ensure sufficient load-bearing strength and prevent rainwater accumulation on the top surface of the tank.
Due to the different specifications of the tanks, stress analysis and calculations determine different arch heights for FRP canopies of varying spans. The safety factor is 1.15.
The design width of a single FRP cover panel is 1.0–1.5 m. Upturned flanges on both sides improve the overall rigidity of the FRP cover and facilitate the connection between adjacent panels.
