The Function of Fiberglass Septic Tanks

Fiberglass septic tanks are primarily used for the primary treatment and purification of domestic sewage. Through a dual process of physical sedimentation (separating suspended solids and grease) and anaerobic fermentation (decomposing organic matter into methane/CO₂), they significantly reduce the COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and pathogenic microorganism content in sewage. Their structural design (typically using a 0.5-1.5mm fiberglass lamination process) provides a compressive strength ≥50MPa and acid and alkali resistance (pH 2-12), making them suitable for residential, hospital, and other applications. They can reduce the load on subsequent sewage treatment processes by more than 30%.
