Fiberglass storage tanks, as the name suggests, are storage tanks made primarily of glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP). They are a new type of composite material, mainly using glass fiber as a reinforcing agent and resin as a binder, manufactured through a microcomputer-controlled winding process. The unique feature of this material is its combination of the high strength of glass fiber and the excellent corrosion resistance of resin, giving FRP storage tanks both lightweight and high strength, as well as excellent corrosion resistance.
